These are employed for the sealing of the lubricating grease of the CV joints on the wheel side and on the differential side and the oil for the fixed covers on the differential side, preventing dust and foreign objects from entering. These products are made of vulcanised rubber and of thermoplastic elastomer.

The rubber covers are produced by INSIT using mixtures of polychloroprene and nitrile rubber specially formulated to improve the resistance to greases, fatigue, high and low temperatures and ozone. The thermoplastic rubber covers, as well as having the above-mentioned properties are also characterised by a higher resistance to laceration.
